Friendly service and the food is GREAT. The rooms are reasonably sized with a separate closet, coffee, and an iron.

We requested a deluxe suite, and the bedroom had been newly decorated.

The staff here are very welcoming and provide great service, with plenty of them available, and the location is perfect right in the town center.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Taunton, with a short walk to the square, cafes, and coffee shops. It is also relatively close to Chef's Kitchen Noodle Bar, which offers convenient food to go. 

We stayed in a modern room with its own bathroom, loved the charming location with ancient stone windows from the castle, and appreciated the provided bathrobes and a hair dryer.

The place was fantastic and had super friendly and outstandingly accommodating staff with great service. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Castle Hotel in Taunton.

The breakfast was delicious and served on genuinely hot plates. The staff was amazingly attentive and well-mannered.- The hotel's location, just a 10-15 minutes' walk from Somerset County Council, was unbeatable. 

The room was reasonably sized and air-conditioned, I felt comfortable there. It was nice to have a separate wardrobe, a safe, and coffee.- The hotel was set in a very central area adjacent to the beautifully furnished bedrooms and the superb restaurant. 

The room I stayed in had a stylish and practical design with a view of the castle, and the hotel's location was fantastic, right next to a historic 16th-century church.

The service really impressed me during my 2-night stay. The room I got was a good deal, and it had a spacious bathroom which was a big plus. But what stood out the most were the staff - they were so attentive and polite. 👌 

The room is well priced. The breakfast is hot and generous with lots of food. The location of the hotel in Taunton is magnificent, so close to a beautiful park for a morning stroll and including a garden set up for refreshements/

This place offers lovely traditional vibes, great service, and delicious food - a definite go-to spot in the area!

The property has a stunning setting, along with incredibly friendly and helpful staff providing excellent service and a good restaurant for dinner, making my stay enjoyable.
